We had visited Surveyor's House, Brewster School and First School of De Smet, and the Ingalls Home, which was built by pa. We then drove to the other end of town and visited Ingalls Homestead, Laura's living prairie, and a trip to the cemetery to see the head stones of ma, pa, and the siblings.

Since Sunday, we have worked, visited with people and have been enjoying the rally, we have 386 trailers/Motorhomes parked on the fairgrounds.
We have sat through some seminars, visited the vendors and visited with friends. On Friday, we had taken a limo ride to the Hanger's restaurant with 2 other couples from our unit. Food was very good, the setting of the restaurant is next to the airport, not one plane landed while we were there.

Here it is Monday, July 1, we are planning on leaving the rally and heading north and then west, toward Alberta, Canada. We've said some good-byes to some friends and will see some tomorrow before we leave. We have about 1,100 miles to reach the start of the caravan, on July 8, which is 6 weeks long of the Canadian Rockies and then a few days later start another caravan on Vancouver Island, Canada.
